Ailsa is one of those brides who barely stopped smiling the entire day and was so impossibly chilled and happy. Ailsa is actually an old friend and we graduated together many years ago!

Ailsa and Craig's wedding was the shortest I've ever been to. They only wanted ceremony covereage, and the ceremony was over quicker than any I've ever shot in the past - possibly something to do with the fact that Gloucestershire Registry Office seemed to have an influx of weddings on that day. There was one wedding taking place as we arrived, vacating the room just in time for Ailsa and Craig's wedding guests to get in and settled, and by the time we came out the next wedding's guests were waiting in the reception. I've never seen a registry office on such a tight schedule, that's defintely one where a late bride would mean no ceremony!

Once the ceremony was done, which included a lovely reading from The Subtle Knife from one of Ailsa's friends, it was onto the steps for some group photos, before taking Ailsa and Craig for some photos near Gloucester Cathedral, and a few more outside their reception venue, The Fountain Inn, before leaving the bride and groom to celebrate with their family and friends at the pub!
