The Barn at West Farm is a stunning venue right on our doorstep, but one we'd never actually been to before. It was a beautiful Summer's day for Hywel & Vienna's wedding, and certainly toasty for bridal prep in the morning, but fortunately the bridal party were armed with fans for the morning to help stop them melting completely. Vienna was walked down the aisle by their [incredibly cute] son, Nye, who was pretty much smiles throughout and may have stole the show a little! The ceremony was stunning and conducted by a fab celebrant, totally personalised to the bride & groom, To View More >>
Some of the highlights from Max & Katie's wedding at the Avon Gorge Hotel, Bristol - a lovely venue with stunning views across the gorge and the Clifton Suspension Bridge. We had a great day shooting Max & Katie's wedding. We've been friends with them for years, and there's always something extra special about being able to be a part of your friends' day, doing a job you love, whilst also celebrating their marriage with a bunch of your favourite people! We had our first ever cake smash last weekend, and it certainly won't be our last! With limited space to work with, and the idea of owning our own studio still a long-term goal, I honestly wasn't sure how this was going to go. But everything went to plan, the space was perfect for what we needed, and Millie was full of smiles, even if she wasn't all that interested in cake! We've already started getting bookings for more cake smashes, so we're very excited where this new branch of our photography is going to take us! To View More >>
Not being super local to Bath, shooting a wedding at The Roman Baths was never even on our radar, so we were thrilled when Holly got in touch about her wedding - before that message I hadn't been to The Roman Baths in over a decade, but I remembered it was a stunning venue and certainly a wonderful choice for your special day. It was a beautiful winter wedding, with a sunset ceremony beside the Great Bath, before the reception on the terrace. It was absolutely freezing— it had been snowing that week — and that night was the coldest night of the year, so huge kudos To View More >>
For the second time I found myself playing the role of photographer at one of Ben's cousins' weddings, this time Darren & Maria. It was also my first church wedding, and despite living in Bridgend for several years by this point, I'd never before been to the church in Ben's home village of Llangeinor, St Cein's Church. Of course, being Wales and it being in October, the odds were stacked up against us for the weather, and the wedding fell in the middle of one of the many storms we had in October. Somehow though, against all odds, it didn't rain! It was however rather windy, To View More >>
